LaDaryl Watkins, MSN, MPH, RN, FNP-C
LaDaryl Watkins, MSN, MPH, FNP-C, is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Nursing and board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Watkins has dedicated over ten years of her career to intersecting nursing and public health principles to cultivate a culture of health for Mississippians. LaDaryl completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She continued her studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, obtaining her Master of Science in Nursing. Her practice areas include primary care, sexual and reproductive health, and pediatrics/adolescent health. LaDaryl is pursuing a Ph.D. in Nursing and is a champion for intersecting research and practice. Her research focuses on amplifying the voices of populations and communities and engaging them in solutions to improve the systems that hinder their health and healthcare access. She hopes MSU nursing students become known as the best nurses in the world.
